  1. Gravity Forms + Are You a Human

    The Are You a Human WordPress plugin is now compatible with Gravity Forms.  All you need is the latest version plus Gravity Forms.  We have incorporated the integration into our WordPress plugin to make it even easier.

    To use PlayThru with Gravity Forms, you will need two separate plugins:

    1. The Are You a Human WordPress plugin.
    2. Gravity Forms.
    To use PlayThru in one of your Gravity Forms, simple navigate to the Advanced Fields tab, and there will be an Are You a Human button.

    We are working on other extensions for PlayThru besides Gravity Forms, but we would love to know if you have any suggestions. Please let us know in our support forum.

  2. Game State Events Available to Developers

    Just this week, we released a new developer feature that we call game state events, which has been one of our most requested features. With game state events, you can now know the status of the game including when it is started or completed. See the documentation for a full list of the events you can monitor and how to integrate them into your code.

    We will be using this API in our lightbox mode to hide the continue button until the game is done. We are all about increasing conversions for sentient beings, and this makes the process more straightforward.

    You can also create your own integrations with an event handler. With this you can add fancy features like hiding the submit button in your form until the game is played or adding event tracking for analytics.

    To make this happen, we use postMessage to communicate out of our iFrame.  The only drawback is that this is not supported in older browsers like IE 6 & 7 but we have a few workarounds that we will be rolling out soon.

    We are excited to see what our talented users can do with this new flexibility. Let us know if you have any cool implementations and keep the ideas coming!

  3. Contact Form 7 built into Are You a Human WordPress plugin

    Want to use PlayThru with Contact Form 7?  Great news!  Integration between PlayThru and Contact form 7 is now built in to the standard Are You a Human WordPress plugin.  There is no more need to download the extension plugin that connects PlayThru to CF7.  The Are You a Human plugin does it all!

    If you are not using the Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin, you should check it out.  It is a great form builder.  Just install it and the Are You a Human plugin will integrate automagically.

  4. New Community Developed Plugins: Joomla and WYSIWYG 8

    We’re happy to announce that we have just posted two more community created plugins!  Fans of PlayThru sent us plugins for Joomla, and WYSIWYG Web Builder 8 that they built on their own and want to share with the world.

    Thanks to Fabbrica Binaria for the Joomla plugin and Pablo Software Solutions for the WYSIWYG extension.

    If you’ve been waiting to use PlayThru on either of these platforms, we hope this helps you get up and running.

  5. Is PlayThru below the submit button on WordPress?

    If you are using PlayThru with WordPress and it is appearing below the submit button, there is an easy way to fix it.  This is occasionally the case with some WordPress themes.

    To change this, go to your WordPress dashboard and click on the Are You a Human settings.  Scroll to the bottom, and you will find the following settings field:

    Just put the ID for the submit button into the field, and you should be done!
